Booking & deposits
Dates are held with a deposit. Your day fee acts as your deposit and is applied to your hunt. We confirm every booking by phone or email before it is final — nothing is charged automatically through this website.
Cancellations & weather
Plans change and Texas weather does too. If you need to reschedule, call us as early as you can and we will do our best to move your dates. For current deposit and cancellation terms, contact us before you book — we would rather talk it through than surprise you.
Hunting licenses & regulations
Every hunter is responsible for holding a valid Texas hunting license and any required stamps or endorsements, and for following all Texas Parks & Wildlife regulations and season dates. We are a high-fenced, family-owned ranch and we hunt legally and ethically; we expect the same of our guests.
Assumption of risk
Hunting, shooting, and ranch activities carry inherent risks. By coming to the ranch you accept those risks for yourself and your party, agree to follow all safety instructions from our guides, and agree that Legacy Ranch is not liable for injury, loss, or damage except where caused by our own gross negligence. Firearms are handled per our guides' direction at all times.
Trophy & day fees
A day fee covers your guide, blind, and the hunt. Trophy fees are set by the animal harvested. Rates are subject to change; the price confirmed at booking is the price you pay for those dates.
Lodging & conduct
Lodges are for the use of booked guests and their party. Please treat the property, the animals, and our staff with respect. We reserve the right to end a stay or hunt, without refund, for unsafe or unlawful conduct.
